68 plate trendline spec-never owned VW's!
Recently purchased from a second hand dealer. Please dont suggest i go back to dealer etc, i can make that decision myself. What I'm after is a yes or no or here's how to do that.
Loadspace lights not working-cab works fine from overhead console/doors opening.
How do you change display speed from kmh to mph-manual not helpful.
Do engine bays come with a top cover?
TIA.
Newbie needs help with 'how to, is this normal' type stuff

i'm not sure about your other questions, but you can change your digital display from KPH to MPH using a OBD2 reader that supports coding such as a carista, carly etc it will also allow you to do some other light software mods to your caddy

Thank you everybody.
Loadspace lights were a lose connection!
KPH to MPH - could not work out or sort so i'm ignoring it, annoying though!
Engine does not come with a top cover/noise reduction trim so i'm living with that for now! I do have a engine bay/bulkhead cover in place but i wondered if the actual engine has a cover on the top of it that helps reduce noise.

I have a 67 start line
VW are really tight with their trims on later vehicles I have discovered.
No floor cover obviously!
No barn door latch cover the one on the roof
No cup holders in load space which normally covers the exposed wires
No rear seat belt recess covers
No engine cover
No bonnet damping
No engine under tray
No carpet behind drivers and passenger seats
No panel at rear of centre console
All these parts exist on some versions of older vehicles. Just seems cheap for them not to be provided.
I am sure they claim it saves loads of load weight!
