Yeah the addition of exta bolts to faff with is an inconvenience, but one that I'd say is worth it.
Gonna have a go at it this weekend.
Cheers for the quality info

I'll get one of them, might look to solve the 'wobble' with some thin black foam padding I've got from another project. I'm thinking I can wedge a bit of that round the bottom as it slots into the cupholders, should ensure a snug fit but without drilling any new holes in case I want to remove it later.

Will let you know if it works!

Yes! It’s not the end of the world in doing two extra bolts! Ahh cool! Definitely keep me updated how it’s going!! I’m just finishing off painting some fox 38 fork lowers so when there done I think my next project might be some painting bits?

Gogs - the armrest fits in the cup holders quite snug already... the addition of some padding might help but the wobble seems to be from the centre console moving slightly (probs due to it not being designed to hold a big fat lever in there!)
I might try some wing nuts accessed through the pop-off cover for the handbrake cable... should be easy enough to remove should I need to

Joe - ahh I see what you mean. My armrest is arriving next week so I'll see if the issue is repeated for mine.

Your point makes sense though, it'll be the actual plastic console moving about the frame, rather than the armrest moving about the cupholder

Yeah exactly that. It's not a lot of movement, and doesn't affect the function of it being a place to rest your arm but we all prefer these things to be as perfect as poss don't we... and an excuse to tinker!

Got the LEDs all wired in and linked to the switches! So:
Rear - one strip mounted between the wheel holders and the body and one mounted behind my block pod rack so you can’t see any bulbs from inside just the glow.
Image
Footwells are one strip in each footwell inc the back “footwells” to help illuminate my storage spaces
Image
Iv also ran two strips In the top area mounted on the inside of the plastic lip pointing forward for a solid glow
Image
Really pleased how they’ve come out and they have a real nice impact and glow in the evening!!
