Hi everyone,

Im currently in the process of re-rimming my touran door cards and would like to add some ambient lights to the door release handle and in the storage bin in the bottom of the door. Just wondering if anyone has done this, if so what did you use and where did you wire it in to?

I did some Audi 8P S3 door handle ambient lights on my caddy. They are wired to the ambient lighting output on the door control module.

Thats wicked info Doc thank you, any idea off the top of your head where on the door module it is? ill pin it in to there and i assume turn it on in VCDS

The pinout might be different for generations of door control module but mine were the same as Dan.

Maybe you can fit these LEDs from Audi. Straight up 12V LEDs.

4G0919390C - higher Light output
8K0973754 - suitable connector
000979009E - suitable wire
