Touran seat base - Damaged brackets
I just bought some Touran seat bases from eBay. Annoyingly they've arrived with 3 of the 4 mounting tabs for the underseat storage damaged. Has anyone else had similar with bases they've purchased? Do you think it's repairable?

That's annoying. There were a couple of small trim pieces missing from mine but nothing that bothered me. There was a good amount of the powder coat that had bubbled up and surface rust set in on the metal beneath, so I disassembled the bases, wire brushed the steel and repainted the whole lot in satin black. Nothing broken on the plastics though. I bunged them all in the dishwasher as they were sticky from whatever baby hauler they had come out of.
As long as there is no plastic bits missing from yours you should be good just carefully gluing them back together. Use two part epoxy as it's plenty strong and with enough flex for this location. Don't use CA glue. I doubt Plastic weld will work here due to the awkward shapes and tight curves.
