What sort of money did the front end set you back? i take it that its all new and not from a brakers yard already?

its all brand new

some is genuine VW some is pattern parts

in bits alone were around £1500

headlights were the most expensive part to buy!

Looks really good, you must be well pleased with how it looks now. The lights really make a difference, do you have any 'head on' pics with the lights switched on..? Cheers :D

Thats a fair price i would say.

I may have to do this in the new year. looks a milltion times better then the std caddy front (pre facelift)
keep up the good work and look forward to seeingt the rest of your plans.

just a note to anyone wanting to do this conversion its not as simple as unbolting old caddy and bolting it back on touran bits it needs cutting and welding

Do you have prices on the lights / part numbers? Also, do the lights have projector lenses in (am thinking of changing mine then fitting a HID kit) :D

genuine vw projector lights are around £2000 as the balast packs etc are all separate

i can get hold of what i have on mine for around £700 they are complete with hid packs and projector lenses so they are road legal!

Did u need a loom for the lights? Was it plug and play and did u buy the lights from vw aswel coz that's a real good price to of paid for the whole front end inc the led lights too:-)

Lights are just plug and play no adaptor looms needed

lights are not vw couldnt afford the 2k for genuine ones !

i can get hold of the lights if interested also all the grilles for the front bumper
