Re: Matt@Reflex's new Caddy project
Here we go guys. I have been busy finishing the van off.
I got the Mirrors working and the flasher lamps are ok now after hiding the original repeater lamps behind the door cards to stop the bulb warning lamp coming on.
Its 95% there now. Passed its MOT on Tuesday wth no issues at all.
Still need to get some cloth to finish some off some panels in the rear.
I had to give up on the Touran door cards and electric windows so i will save them for another day.
I'm happy with the cabin now though after a bit paintwork to all the light coloured bits.

And a bit of 3M carbon wrapping to make it feel less van like.

My £20 ebay tv screen

Here is the van all finished on the ouside anyway.

And a quick reminder of how it all began in April

Its been a bag of mixed emotions but the only regret is that i should of waited for a TDI. (but i love this colour)
Its just too slow. Engine conversion next i think

Stunning Matt in every way, well worth the wait, the colour is brilliant & so different, a great advert for your work, not that you need it.

Cheers dude. It came with the tailgate and had a thin sheet of board that sat between it and the window. I'll see if there are any stickers on it.feeman wrote:van is lookin great, you do excellent work matt it looks like it came out of the factory like that. were did you get the grill for the back window if ya dont mind me askin might help stop anybody from breakin into the van.

I'd guess it was a "Van Guard" rear window grill like the grills i've got for my rear doors...........feeman wrote:van is lookin great, you do excellent work matt it looks like it came out of the factory like that. were did you get the grill for the back window if ya dont mind me askin might help stop anybody from breakin into the van.
