I only have one key for my van and the fob casing was looking tired so bought one online. When it arrived this morning I changed the insides and key blade to the new one and tried it. The van went into 'SAFE' mode. A couple of phone calls and I had not transferred the little transponder from the old casing which I had already binned - had to dig in the bin for this tiny little glass diode looking thing - found it thank god and all is back to normal with my new fob casing.

You enabled it in vcds? Worked for me without the sensor, but lights were on day and night

Did you check with VCDS whether it's activated?

Not to my Caddy but for my Caddy:
- Booked a return ticked with Stenaline from Holland to Ireland through England, for the period from the 21st of May till the 5th of June. Stenaline offers this as an one trip journey and the Caddy (even the closed one without sliding doors) can now be booked as car, since it's lower as 2 meters and shorter than 6 meters.
- Also ordered a new steeringwheel control module, so I can fit a 12 button Passat CC steeringwheel which I will be buying as well, since it's brand new and has a price of € 325 including installation by the seller.

Ash08 wrote:Finally got my auto headlight switch installed (coming + leaving also activated) this week and my heater controller with heated seat function and seat loom installed (loom from @stan-the-man), here is a pic of the light sensor mounted Image I removed it from the little plastic holder it came with and drilled it into that front plastic cover on the dash, 3/16 drill and it's a nice tight fit, works perfectly Image

Is the coming and going option available on an 06 caddy do you know? I just fitted mine a while back and been wondering about this option, i hate seeing the new vw's headlights coming on when unlocked and mine wont lol

Turbodcaddy how did you go about carpeting? Was it the carpet from a touran or just the self apply stuff?
