Did you fit stone guards ? When ordering the HEL hoses where they a special order or a standard hose ?
Looking to fit the same set up on a maxi with 19" vw motorsport wheels - should show them off quite well
Love your colour much better than mine (boring white)

On the front you don't need to change the stone guards, the rears you do. The Hel hoses are a standard item. I did email Hel for advice and they informed me that I would be fine just ordering the mk5 golf R32 ones from thier website.

I thought that the R32s would require new stone guards over the old maxi discs being a lot smaller
I take it that they feel a lot stronger as standards seem at times to be very weak (giving the feeling of it's not enough )

Mine certainly made a noticeable improvement in stopping power. I fitted new brembo discs and pads all round at the same time so I'd have been dissapointed if it hadn't felt better. I think the braided hoses make a big difference to the pedal feel, I'm really pleased with mine.

I will probably do the fronts first then when a set for the rear becomes available then I'll do them - did you go HEL hoses at both ends ? The standard brakes look a bit lost in the 19" wheel

No I only did the fronts but will do the rears at some point. It's a bit more complicated and pretty much just for the looks so I'll leave it for the summer I think.

Had to take advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend so gave the van a full decontamination, tar, iron and clay. Machine polished the entire van, then 2 coats of OCD Alien 51 and a final coat of OCD Nebula. Add a bit of sun and the blackberry pearl just comes alive :D

Finally got round to painting and fitting my side skirts last week too.

Great colour, really like it with some nice mods that aren't over the top.

Can I ask where you got that rear wiper delete from ??

Thanks, Joe :)

Gorgeous colour mate, is it VAG or has it been painted? Do you know the paint code by any chance? Also which coilovers did you use and are they still relatively comfy? Cheers
