Hi all. My current van has been written off in an accident so I'm on the lookout for a new van. I rang my insurance company today to get a quote to change to a 16 plate highline 140bhp . They're wanting 250 quid to put it onto my existing policy which only has 7 month left to run. I asked if my accident has been considered on this and her reply was " no because it's added to your existing policy and when your renewal time come it will obviously be more expensive because of the accident "
I'm trying to find different company's to get a quote from...i only know Adrian flux and brentacre so if anyone can add to this it would be much appreciated
Thanks Dale

Thanks for reply. Green light was the one I was trying to find but I couldn't remember the name. What sort of money do you pay them for a year's cover

With a accident and 3 points the wife has. Loads of mods. £500. Flux was crazy money for me.

I'm with Adrian Flux for my caddy and its £400 for the year. I'm with Greenlight for my T5 and its about the same.
Based on, 34 year old male. With 3 points for an SP50. Wife as a named driver. No claims of 6 years.

Re: Which insurance company
I rang flux back and got a full years quote and it came back as 650 quid which I think is way too high. Yes I've just had an accident but it wasn't my fault. I'm 47 with no convictions , live in the middle of nowhere and do 12,000 miles a year on a social domestic pleasure policy .
