Alloys for 2011 Maxi
I have just got a 2011 Caddy Maxi (ex-BG), that has steel wheels fitted, which are battered.
I traded in my 2006 Skoda Octavia Estate but I still have the original alloys for it, which I would like to use on the Caddy if I can.
The label in the Caddy drivers side doorway says 6J x 16 (I don't have a user manual for the van) and the Skoda Alloys are 6.5J x 16 PCD 5 x 112.
Do any of you know if these will fit?

Re: Alloys for 2011 Maxi
Should fit the 5x112 is the bolt pattern and the 6j is the width of alloy, think you can go up to 8/8.5j without the sliding door catching

Re: Alloys for 2011 Maxi
What is the offset of the Skoda alloys?
There should be specs cast into the rear of one of the spokes that reads "ET**"
The ** denotes the offset and that is more important than the width of the alloy.

Re: Alloys for 2011 Maxi
I am not sure, I will see if I can find it in the morning.
The spec sheet for the Skoda says ET50 and the alloys were genuine Skoda Octavia alloys, so I assume they would have been to spec.

Re: Alloys for 2011 Maxi
Morning mate the et would need to be between et47 to et54 to be sure I'm running Audi A-line 19inch alloys on my maxi hope this helps

Re: Alloys for 2011 Maxi
There's quite a good wheel and tire calculator here, and there's quite a lot of room in the caddy arches for bigger wheels, as others have said.

Re: Alloys for 2011 Maxi
Thanks guys, very helpful
I need to get my Skoda alloys refurbished now, some of them are not holding air because the paint is flaking in places.

Re: Alloys for 2011 Maxi
A good rule of thumb with offset (the ET figure) is to stay with in +/- 5 of the original value. If I remember rightly, the standard 15” steels are ET47, so as low as 42 or as high as 52.

When changing to alloys are you using standard wheel bolts?

Re: Alloys for 2011 Maxi
Ideally get proper alloy wheel bolts, the part of the bolt under the head which contacts the wheel is a different shape from the steel wheel bolts. Those are domed and the alloy ones aren't from memory. Could bind up or not seat properly.

Those alloys look insane.
