Hi everyone I asked question before but was told to look in useful part numbers
I’ve spent many hours looking but can’t find it
Does any one have part number for side rail with tabs
As the cover I got rattles on existing rail

Re: What did you do to your van today?
First thing I’ve done to my caddy today is strip out the old ply racking the previous owner had fitted, and I replaced the bottom side door roller as the wheel had sheered off the original one
Surprisingly straight forward job to do!

Re: What did you do to your van today?
This was a couple of days ago, but I fitted cruise control stalks.
Dead easy job other than the usual 45 minutes fannying around trying to get the airbag out!

Had a bit of a hickup with the coding as my old software didn't have any coding help for a mk4. I managed to make some educated guesses after pausing and zooming in on youtube videos and got them going in the end. I need to get the MFD working at some point too.
My new wheels turned up, but they arrived wrong. I ordered plain 17x7.5 et40 OE type steels, but the supplier sent these modular ones:

Which I don't mind so much, I have them on my camper van - but they're 17+kg each!

Tomorrow I've got these to fit:

I'm a new member and can't access any guides, do I need to take the driveshaft out of the hub to get it low enough? I fitted a set for a friend a few years ago and have completely forgotten how they all came apart. They're only cheapies, but after putting a set of £1000 Bilsteins on my Ibiza and absolutely hating them, I'm going to give these a go before spending a lot of money!
