Passat cc seats.

Post by Skiprat77 »

Hi all.

I've currently got golf gt seats fitted on touran bases, but I've seen a passat cc at a local breakers. So wanted to know, if they are a straight fit, is it possible to write them in without coding etc and is it worth the change?
Also looking at getting the head unit from the same car.

Cheers for your help. And appolagise if these has been asked loads already.

It’s not a straight fit, but they do fit. You’ll have to drill a few holes, as the holes don’t match the bases.

It’s doable and worth it.

Ah ok.

Would it be better sourcing stock caddy bases to drill or stick with the touran. ? Have you fitted a set?

Cheers

They are straight fit on Touran bases, just like any other seats from bigger VAG vehicles.

Great. Thankyou. Dont mind getting the drill out. But would rather a straight fit . Is the wiring just a case of adding a live feed and earth to get the adjusters working?
Thanks again

HImage
Old pic, just brought a ignition switches positive to under the drivers seat and a negative from a seat mount.

They look smart. Waiting to hear back from the breakers where I got a bumper last week. As they have a cc going in for breaking. Black leather interior. So hoping they give me a decent price.
