Re: Private van Insurance
For me it was just simpler to swap my insurance over when I sold my T6 and bought the caddy. Not using it for business yet but will change over at next renewal. Doubt it'll be Admiral at that point as they are not particularly cheap and a bit weird about options on the van never mind mods.

Re: Private van Insurance
I had always assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that commercial insurance would be more expensive, and since i wont be using the van for work i figured that private was the way to go in my case

Re: Private van Insurance
Mine's insured privately, but then I'm a Maxi Life. I had to have a good shop around, and I eventually went with Adrian Flux.
I'm Fully Comp, and listed the below up front and they're stated on the Policy, any other changes, you just need to ring them, I've put my personal plate on FOC as well. I'd already got my Aircooler with them as well, so was an existing customer
Spoilers Multiple
Suspension - Uprated/Lowered/Stiffened Springs & Dampers
Tinted Windows
Body Kit
Bumpers - Alloy
Alloy Wheels
I had to provide
1.Proof of No Claims Bonus (NCB) currently in use on your other Vehicle (They credited me with 9 years until I got the proof letter to them)
2.Mileage Declaration Form (I won't do more than 8k p/a)
3.Modified Vehicle Report Form (which I filled in)
£340.00 per year, was the best I could get
Anyone doing much better
