Re: What did you do to your van today?
Today I filled around the panel that I used to cover where I removed the vent from the top of my van.
Didn't do a fantastic job but at least it shouldn't be too visible on the roof!
Tomorrow is my first go at ply lining!

Added one of these today. I had an alpine unit before but hate not having tactile volume controls etc. plus it looks more oem.

I’ve been thinking about one of them. The only thing holding me back is the USB not being out the rearSemster wrote:Added one of these today. I had an alpine unit before but hate not having tactile volume controls etc. plus it looks more oem.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
They're deffo worth it!
There's mixed info about the RCD360 as apparently it's a mix of a newer OEM VW headunit with a cheap front end screen/buttons to fit earlier (PQ?) models which then means it's technically not VW OEM.
Whereas the RCD330 (with the aux input between the SD card and USB) are VW OEM (albeit Chinese market)
I've had a RCD330 in my Scirocco for over a year and it's been pretty much faultless. They do also sometimes need some coding with VCDS.
Have a read of this... before you buy
Oh, you can always relocate the USB to the rear (requires some disassembly and soldering). There's a guide in the link above.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Thank you! I was just going to start researching changing from the RDS310 to the RCD330, the link you posted is super helpful.ACalamita wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 9:48 am They're deffo worth it!

You can mod the head unit and pop the usb out the back and into the oem dash mount socket

Fitted these blanking plates today, really happy with the quality and think they look top notch. Made it a lot quieter as well

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Remapped from 102 to 165... soo much better!
Having recently changed from a Mk7.5 GTD to the 102 Highline, the power (or lack of) was frustrating. Mega happy now though!
And my new alloys have arrived! Just need to remove the stilts before I get them fitted.

Got around to fitting the touran carpet to the seat conversion and getting a nice join to the rear floor rubber
