235 is generally the widest I would go, not heard anyone running 255 before. You will have issues with the sliding door I would think.
Did a test fit with the 255 /45/ 18 tires today no issue with the sliding door. Very tight of course.
Not sure about the TÜV though......
Haven't installed the front coilovers yet.
Stripped out the carpets and replaced them with the rubber flooring. Alot better for cleaning as it being a fishing vehicle. Will put the carpets up for sale on this section of the forum soon.

I used those exact runners to build a drawer into my caddy.
You my find you struggle to get the rearmost screws through the runner, into your (tray, drawer, bed)..
Hopefully its close enough to tailgate you will have clearance. I had to mount mine onto a false floor, then slide the whole unit into the caddy and bolt to the floor, or I couldn't secure runners at the back...
Got it all in and working, I use threaded inserts to screw runner to tray but these runners are a pita as they don't come apart...
Had a touran dash from wife's old car for ages so finally got a dry day to fit it. Also managed to get mk2 touran vents, surround and top pocket yesterday to replace the old and broken bits. Definitely nicer to look at. Needed some modding to refit my stereo setup but all in now

No worries mate, I'll.offer you first dips. The rear carpet however as a load of gunk from someone prior to me owning it spilling something. I'll ping you a pm with photos.
Got hold of a rear single touran seat so stripped it down and used the base to make a quick release bike holder...
fits two bike's if I remove the middle seat and move it along
telescopic T bar with thumb screw keeps the wheels secured .
