Stripped the whole back of the van including bulkhead and headliner making it ready for some sound isolation and carpeting

Noticed that the van has started doing something odd when I lock it - usually it'll beep once when it's locked, and beep twice when unlocked. Today, it's either not beeping at all and about 15-20 seconds later the alarm starts sounding or, it'll lock, then beep once about 10 seconds later (the alarm doesn't sound if it does this). Did a bit of digging on here and saw lots of posts about the high level brake light leaking, so decided to start there - low and behold, two different types of screw holding it in (barely though, they were too small to actually tighten properly). So, took them out, removed the light, applied a little sealant to the gasket and re-fitted it with decent screws. By the time I'd done that it was dark, so tomorrow I'll pull the mechanism out of the door and see if it's full of water.

Ive placed some cables for my audio setup. All speakers will have their own channel and I'm adding a subwoofer and 2 extra speakers in the bulkhead.
Still waiting for some extra Dodomat sheets as.
Also routed the positive cable to the enginebay, still need to connect it to the battery.

I've removed the wheel arches this afternoon as I know some dirt and sand may get stuck up there. This really is a design flaw if you ask me.
The amount of sand, even wet sand is ridiculous.
To prevent this from happening in the future I've 3D printed some caps to fill up the gaps in the cowl.

Fitted and coded my new MFSW . Now I just need to buy the interface for the stereo controls and I can call that little bit done.

Also found the issue with the alarm/central locking - it was water pooling in the lower latch "well" on the big barn door. All dried out, greased and working fine again

So far have steering wheel airbag and wiring loom..any help appreciated.

Parts-wise that's probably about it, you'd just need to check which SWCM you have fitted. Check out Doc's guide https://www.caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38600, it's what I used to work out what was needed (plus a confirmation from Doc

). Have you got a method for coding the new bits? If so, you should be able to use that to get the part number of your SWCM. From there, you can cross-reference it with the ross-tech page which Doc has linked in his guide

Routed the cable for the rear view camera.
I didn't use the included cable that came with the camera as this cable is to thin. Also with this cable I can make it exactly to lenght.

Only needs coding in. Hopefully it will be easy

I've gone half with my son on an ex BG caddy maxi to kit out as a camper .. lovely and clean but stunk of horses .now I do like horses but , we've stripped everything out ready for washing down , disinfecting and look at getting it sprayed ..plenty of pics heading your way ..and probably plenty of questions..I have reduced the van weight abit with taking out all the redundant BG wiring
