Changed my front passenger side wing which had horrible rust issues because of a previous repair (the arch had been welded from the inside) to a better used one. Now I can't get my front bumper to slot into the bumper bracket

Had to top up my coolant, I suspect a small leak somewhere. Not much, just a couple of dL since I last filled before christmas. Any usual culprits I should check? Don't see any puddles anywhere, no white smoke in the exhaust nor residue in the oil so I don't suspect it's the head gasket. Water pump, maybe? I'm at 140km / 86k miles.

Had something very similar, turned out that the plastic inside the oil filter housing had perished. Replaced this and no leaks since.mac12 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 9:55 am Had to top up my coolant, I suspect a small leak somewhere. Not much, just a couple of dL since I last filled before christmas. The coolant passes through the filter housing along with oil for the heat exchanger.
Pretty good video here and the signs to confirm.

I can recognize those broken clips and lost bolts situations! Every time I go on and try to improve on the caddy I also tend to brake some clips

Nice upgrade! Im looking for Caddy life mirrors as well. Looks so much better!!

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Darkside flip kit and b8 shocks fitted to rear as part of the b14 kit. White line rear arb fitted as well
Had to go hunting around for leaf springs on a Saturday before people shut as one snapped in half as soon as I removed the shackle so replaced both sides to be on the safe side.

Give it all a good clean up tomorrow before getting all tightened up and new wheels on

Got it dropped today with the new alloys on the rear
Think the bronze bola and blackberry work quite well together

Finally got around to doing an info video for my Fiamma Low Loader bike carrier conversion.
Not great, but hopefully helpful.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Yay !
Got a new HDPE board to mount my cooker burner on.
Chose a nice Grey Granite board to sort of match the rest of the fittings.
When it arrived I was a little disappointed as it was a bit scratched and had obvious shiny production tool marks
Luckily - A quick rub down with a grey Scotchbrite pad and it looks much better

Half way on this side ... As it arrived on the left of this image Better check it fits now !
Phew
Looks nicer than the blue one, though functionally no different.
Just got to drill a few holes now ...
