Will Audi tt 1.8 gearbox fit caddy 07

5 speedbox went last night out of nowhere was stopped at roundabout in 1st tried to go nothing eventually it selected then tried 2nd nothing had to pull over only gear I can get is reverse without issue. Also it will clutch and go into all the gears just won't select it so I assume it is the gearbox and not just the clutch?? Any suggestions welcome also would the following 6 speed from tt fit. Was originally BLS which I changed to asz few years ago cheers
