MFSW emulator Questions

Post by Banri »

Hey Caddy friends,
I am new here and last month I bought a Caddy from 2012, which was a former construction
site vehicle and is now getting some maintenance :D

I am currently in the process of installing a T6 steering wheel.
By chance I was able to get hold of an MFSW emulator to be able to operate the cruise control

So I bought the following parts:
Steering column switch: 5K0 953 507 BB
Slip Ring: 5K0 953 549 D (Highline)

the whole conversion is well documented by Xhorse

Unfortunately, I just can't work out where the following cables need to be connected :?:

I really hope that someone here can help me who has perhaps already carried
out this conversion because unfortunately I can't get any further.

Thanks guys

I believe the emulator you have bought is ONLY to fool the SWCM into thinking it has a MFSW fitted directly, these are only used if a aftermarket adaptor module is used to fit a newer generation MFSW onto an older vehicle.
Does your supplier not offer any help?
Maybe you can ask on the manufacturers forum which you have linked to?
