Handbrake cable Guide
Has anyone replaced the metal handbrake cable guide in a caddy maxi, thought my cable had broken only to find its the metal guide thats corroded thru!

Not a maxi, but I did mine a month or so ago.
A bit fiddly but straight forward enough.
I replaced both the LHS and RHS aluminium guides and the cables.
Bought the parts from Autodoc,

Thanks did it take long ? Mine is a kombi so guess all the seats will need to come out and rubber carpet !

Hi , if I remember correctly it took around 3 hours from start to finish including removing the rusted ones and drilling and tapping the broken bolts.
You’ll most likely only need to partially dismantle your centre console at the handbrake to access the tensioner bolt to remove the cables and guide the aluminium tubes back in.
If you’re replacing the cables, check before you start that you have the right length ones
