Maybe a stupid question, but do you tint inside the window, or outside?
Not a stupid question at all.
As Kryton85 said, clean throughly, then form the film with heat and patience on the outside of the glass, then remove protective film from tint and apply tint to the inside of the glass.

Thanks for the answers. I'm converting my van, and it has a lot of broken defroster wires in the rear window. I've been repairing them, and it'd be nice to protect them a bit more with some tint. Also to add some privacy.
Problem is that the pre cut ones generally aint heated to conform to the shape so will end up creasing or peeling. Its far easier just to do it in situ & not pay the extra

For Caddy rear windows I would recommend pre cut actually. Sure, they won’t be pre formed to the curvature of the window. And you probably need to be prepared to cut some bits anyway (keep a sharp razor blade close).
But you think you probably will be better of with pre cut due to the small distance between edge of black of and sheet metal. Other cars I have tinted do have a more forgiving design

Decided to take everything out of the back and start again. Through some long-term use, I've realised that mistakes were made in the initial fit out and it could be done better, so I'm probably going to go down the route of a pre-made boot jump style type thing. It'll also give me an opportunity to find a good place to fit the diesel heater that I've had in a box for a few weeks now. Not sure exactly when I'll start this as it's bloody freezing at the moment . Watch this space I guess.....
Recently painted the brakes for the upcoming R32 brake swap.
Yesterday and today I painted the brake pad retainer for the front. I got some R stickers to use on them. Unfortunately the bigger R that is intended for the front brakes is really on/over the limit. Almost thinking about using the rear R’s instead. Any opinions?
