I can go 40mm lower, but it hits the bump stops, rides like shit and doesn't handle that good. Where I am at now is a nice compromise.
They are genuine Audi TT wheels. Got them from a tyre shop in Victoria.
Our car is Banshee, the bare chassis green and white car.
The engine in both cars is a 392 Chysler HEMI. They are both putting out about 2500hp depending on Nitro percentage etc.
Our engine specs are, off the top of my head..
- 392 grout filled block. Bored .040" over.
- Standard 392 crank (crack tested, obviously!)
- VRE Billet Aluminium 4 bolt main caps.
- CP forged blower pistons. .012"-.014" Piston to Bore Clearance. (Yes, that's not a typo!) And aluminium piston buttons.
- Brooks forged aluminium rods.
- ~8 US quart oil pan (customised).
- 120psi Oil pressure @ idle (roughly 2500rpm).
- Modified VRE remote oil filter adapter.
- Chet Herbert "70" nitro cam. Its about 108 degree lobe centres and 320 degrees total duration, from memory.
- Milodon gear drive
- Donovan exhaust rockers.
- Herbert roller cam followers
- Littlefield teflon tipped 6/71 supercharger, 25% overdriven.
- Enderle "Three Rib" injector.
- Enderle "110" fuel pump.
This engine produces about 121DB at idle from 14 feet infront of the blower, on 90% nitro..
Umm.. If you want to know anything else, just ask.
