He must be knackered doing all that flatting and polishing. Its bad enough doing a polish job on the car!
And stop doing stuff to yours that inspires me to do more things to mine!

Yes that's the trim I was referring to. That will finish it off nicely.

Re: My Caddy 'R' build thread
It will look much more oem and allows for easier fixing of the lower section of bumper - Matt had to make brackets for the Reflex Touran R bumper and whilst this may need a bracket or 2, they will be smaller and easier to mount.

Re: My Caddy 'R' build thread
I've been on the fence about badging. I've got some R Line badges but think as I've [and Reflex] gone to so much trouble removing the VW badges that adding any will take away from the theme. Ultimately my whole concept is "A VW Caddy R (as if thats a genuine VW model) that I've modified trying to keep some of its R DNA but being unique enough that people know its mine".
I think I will wait until its finished and then look at the smaller details, but I will say, as I've had Touran wings fitted with no side repeaters, its unlikely anything will go back there.

I took this today while I was refitting the wing liners if you still need the part number.

Re: My Caddy 'R' build thread
Cheers Matt. Ed was hoping that lower number was more visible but said not to worry, they will sort it when it goes to them next.
I've just ordered some Audi door handle LEDs (Bigharty's fault!) which means another project when it comes back from Reflex! I suspect I'm going to get stuck with the wiring but it should be straightforward enough - I'm assuming take a feed from the one of the interior lights that come on when you remove the ignition key? On the Audi forums where I found the pics they also mention +ve for the door handle illumination lamp on the 32 pin connector is pin 17. -ve is pin 19.
Its possible I may have ordered 2 sets of 2 as opposed to 2 individual parts but still only £25.
As mentioned in Bigharty's thread, the part numbers are:
8P3 919 177 - led diffuser
4B0 919 063 A - led module

Subtle effect at night

Don't blame me mate lol. I'm also fitting golf puddle lights and me and doc are fitting lights in door mirrors to shine on floor when alarm is deactivated. I'm looking into led light in lower cubby hole. The one below ash tray too. Love my lighting.

I have to blame someone, especially when I see yours with its new lighting, I'm sure I'll end up wanting to do something similar! I get inspired too easily. I take it the Golf puddle lights are an easy upgrade?

Yep. Just fit into original hole and they can be wired into door control module. The just needs activating via vcds

Re: My Caddy 'R' build thread
I reckon there's a whole pile of electrical upgrades in its future! LEDs wherever they will go without causing coding issues and some interior lighting that I've got to come up with when I work out how I'm going to trim the rear.
