@petrev that's a really good looking cluster! Have never seen that before. Is there a comparison of different clusters available on mk4s anywhere? Not sure what I've got

They look great, I assume you need adaptors? Sit just right, not too far out!

Thanks Petrev! :) You've got me thinking about cluster conversions now

@Facian - Yes, PCD adaptors are needed as the T5 is 5x120 not 5x112 like the Caddy. I got them from PCD Parts, they come complete with bolts for mounting them to the van. The wheels are bolted on using shortened T5 bolts - PCD Parts do also sell shortened bolts for this, however you can't use the VW centre caps as they don't have the collar on them. These are the 20mm versions, so fit the arches nicely.

Just needs a gentle smack with the lowering stick now :D

For those who live in a km/h country...

MoMan.pl do km/h Scirocco R Foils (technically mph to km/h but you can get your cluster re-programed to the correct scale I believe)

Cheap
https://moman.pl/en/home/1356-volkswage ... o-kmh.html

? Seems the same with Diesel version
https://moman.pl/en/home/1518-11699-vol ... range-6000

Check - Some images show chrome !!!!
Also Fuel and Temp warnings are not in right places ...

Just add Blue Needles !
(and blue LEDs)

I fixed my mk5 Climatronic control panel which had its rotary dials skipping forwards and back unpredictably. Annoying as hell. My solution was to disassemble the unit and thoroughly clean all the gears from dust and grime. Works as intended now. Also pinpointed the source of an irritating noise constantly coming from behind the front passenger storage space: it's the air re-circulation flap actuator (is that what it's called?). Not sure if I can fix this myself.

Scored a brand new, never been fitted, set of Bilstein B16 coilovers for a Mk6/7 GTI today.
Friend had them for a few months, to fit to his Mk6, but sadly his car was written off.
Won't say what i paid for them, but it was less than half of what they cost new.
Having them fitted tomorrow morning.

I bought new top mounts as well.

Currently fitted is a set of JOM coilovers that were fitted 5 odd years ago, so the ride will be about 17 000% better with the Bilsteins.

Started messing around with some red pinstriping today, actually quite like it. Going to do the other side and do a strip along my side skirts tomorrow, see how that looks Image
