Simple fix that’s been on my list for ages…

Sliding door stop replaced with a new one from VW, no more holding it open with my shoulder Image

Next job is a replacement RLS to fit in the factory bracket on my replacement windscreen and the a bit of a touch up to the sliding door sill from previous bottom roller failure

I've tried to repair my defroster wires in my rear window with Loctite Circuit +, but the masking tape just tear off the tracks when I try to remove them. Think I'm doing more harm than good at this point

Put it next to the element (each side) to create a thin line then remove whilst still wet. Not used the loctite but if it’s the same as other stuff, if you peel when it’s gone hard, the stuff that overlaps the tape lifts with it. If you pull it off when the repair is wet, it comes straight up

Which one did you use? the Loctite one is expensive as hell. 22£ for 5ml.

Was A LOT more silver than factory but worked perfectly fine

Cheers! Found some cheaper alternative on Amazon. I'll get one of those circuit testers, and then just go to town on the defogger.

Gave it a wash and blew some paint from my front bumper with the pressure washer. Gutted!

It’s gonna need to go into the body shop mate. I’m hoping they can do a localised repair rather than respray the whole bumper

Think it's time to learn how to plastic weld! Have to try and cut and fill in the wrap as well because there's no way I'm paying to get the whole bumper rewrapped, as it looks like I'll have to get the trim resprayed.
Gutted
