Hello all.
I've got a 2018 Caddy Maxi that I've been working on upgrading over Christmas.
I picked up some nice Touran seats but obvs the cabling is different. The blue plug fits okay (not sure what it does!), but the yellow (Airbag) and black (seatbelt sensor wire I think) are both different.
I don't have a heating module in the Caddy so I guess that cable will have to stay unplugged?
So I need a loom or adapter to get them to work in the Caddy. I know Stan the Caddy Man makes them apparently, but I'm not on Facebook so any other advice gratefully received. I am happy to use the donor plugs from the old Caddy seats if necessary but I'm no good at soldering.
Cheers, arkonline

Re: Wiring adaptor for Touran seats upgrade
I did this in my van.
I didn't have the functionality on the old seats so all i did was stop the seat belt light coming on (close the circuit)

I think I'd have to get the yellow airbag connector done to pass MOT.
Any suggestions on where to get a loom done?

Re: Wiring adaptor for Touran seats upgrade
I chopped the plugs off my old seats and spliced them on to the loom for the new seats. If you do that - splice, don't solder, and bear in mind they're small wire so need good small splices.
Ideally would've preferred adapters but only found out the plugs were opposite genders after taking the old seats out!

For anyone else who might be looking for a way to contact Stan re: wiring/looms, I found him on Instagram and contacted through there – search for Stan the VW Man. He's a top bloke.
